Precautions: If the patient is taking some other medication at the time of taking effexor it is important to inform the doctor. if the patient is using MAO inhibitors it is necessary to inform the doctor. These inhibitors include:
- Isocarboxazid (Marplan)
- Phenelzine (Nardil)
- Tranylcypromine (Parnate)
If the patient is taking such type of medications in the past which may interact with the effexor then must tell his doctor.
