Enpresse
Enpresse is used as contraceptive medication. It is also used as medication in some other problems related sexual hormones in women.
Dosage:
The dosage shall only be taken as per the doctor’s prescription. The doctor can vary the schedule as to suitability to the patient. However, below are some general guidelines for Enpresse dosage.
Patient should be very regular in taking the medicine; however, if a dosage is missed it should be taken as soon as possible within the next 24 hours period. In case, the more dosages are missed, the physicians should be consulted for further consultation.
The pills are for oral administration, to be taken with a little after. It is recommended to have the pills after food to avoid any stomach upsets.
Precaution:
As with all other medications, the patient should communicate her health history to the doctor. Doctors are as well expected to examine the patient’s conditions regarding heart, liver etc.
When starting the schedule it recommended, that the patient should read the information leaflet provided with the medicine. Although, the doctor would have studied the patient, this is done to ascertain to avoid any unexpected mishap, if there is anything missed by the patient or the doctor. After this ‘self-assessment’, if still there are any doubts raised in the patients mind, she should consult the doctor before starting the medication.
One very important to be kept in mind is that this medicine is only a contraceptive pill. It should not taken as cure of sexually transmitted disease (AIDS for instance).
Side Effects of Enpresse:
As with most of the medicines, there are some side-effects associated with Enpresse as well. Though these can be prevented; however, if appears, the patient should seek consultation of the doctor. After or while using the medicine, the patient might observe some side-effects such as swelling or weakness of the limbs or parts of limbs, especially on one side of the body; or problems in vision or speech. For like or unlike side-effects, the patients must consult the doctor as soon as possible.
