Precautions:

Those women’s who are pregnant must follow the instructions of he doctor before going to use it. it also takes much care in case of breast feeding because the drug may transfer to the child through milk. Because of the resemblance of the tricyclic antidepressants and flexeil so may be if the women takes tricyclic antidepressants they also cause the same reactions.

Drug interaction:

This drug flexeril may interact with the other drugs .so for the flexeril usage it must needs the doctor’s advice. the substances that contains alcohol and the alcohol itself must be avoided by the patients during this drug usage. The drugs which contain MAO inhibitors must also avoid when ever some one is using flexeril.nardil and parnate is the example of it.

So for using the flexeril it is always avoid taking the other medications. The person when taking the barbiturates must also avoid the use of flexeril.these includes:
Phenobarbital Guanethidine and other medications for blood pressure.
The drugs which slow down the central nervous system are Halcion and Xanax
Tramadol (Ultram) so these must be avoided in case of using flexeril.it also needs that when some one is using the flexeril he must follow the doctors instructions. if the dose is once missed just go to the next dose and forget the first one.
