Flonase

Flanose, an inflammable nasal corticosteroid medication is used to treat Nasal Blockage and infection. It also controls nasal allergies symptoms.

Ingredients:

The active ingredient in Flonase is Fluticasone Propionate, an artificial corticosteroid having chemical name S-(fluoromethyl) 6a, 9-difluoro-11ß-17-dihydroxy-16a-methyl-3-oxoandrosta- 1, 4-diene-17ß-carbothioate, and 17-propionate. In addition to Micro fine Fluticasone Propionate, Flonase also contains Microcrystalline Cellulose and Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, Polysorbate 80, Dextrose, 0.02% w/w Benzalkonium Chloride, and 0.25% w/w Phenylethyl Alcohol.

Chemistry:

Ethanol and Methanol.

Dosage:

Flonase is available in an aqueous suspension of 50 mcg (Microfine Fluticasone Propionate) spray form. It puts effects on the nasal mucosa and applied through an atomizing spray pump.

Once the pump is operational, it delivers about 50 mcg of Fluticasone Propionate per 100 mg of the medication. Also, every 16-g Flonase Nasal Spray bottle delivers a total of 120 metered sprays. Around after 120 metered sprays, the pump should be discarded because of the Fluticasone Propionate sprayed is out of correct proportion.
