Renova

Ingredients:
The main ingredient in Renova is Tretinoin Gel Microsphere with formulation of

Chemistry:
Tretinoin is an all- trans-retinoic acid, which is also called (all- E)-3,7-dimethyl-9-(2,6,6-trimethyl-1-cyclohexen-1-yl)-2,4,6,8-nonatetraenoic acid. Tretinoin belongs to the Retinoid series of compounds and metabolite of Vitamin A as well.
Dosage:
If you miss out a dose, you should take the missed dose as soon
as possible. If your missed dose time is close to the next dose time then only take one dose and forget about the missed dose.
You should apply Renova to your skin only once in a day preferably before going to bed. Do not take the medicine by mouth. You are advised to strictly follow the instructions, mentioned on the packing.
If you apply Renova in large quantity on your skin it may cause trigger irritation. Also note that applying more than the recommended quantity of the medicine will not show better results. Always avoid applying Renova when you have make-up or any other application on your skin.
When applying Renova containing Tretinoin, always wait at least 20-30 minutes. This will minimize the chances of irritation. Always use about quarter of an inch of the medicine or less for each dose for better results.

Precautions Using Renova
You may experience some adjusting in first few weeks of using Renova. If you want to give up taking medication, first you consult your doctor. Renova can’t be effective over sunburn or Eczema. While using Renova you should avoid being exposed to sunlight and heat. It may cause irritation. Your doctor should also know about any skin condition of allergy you may suffer with. Your doctor should also know if you are pregnant
Renova should not be taken along with the medicines that contain:
- IsoRetin-A
- Amiodarone
- Tetracycline
- Quinolone antibiotics
- Sulfa drugs
- Phenothiazines
Finally, it is worth noting that do not use medicines having drying agents like Benzoyl Peroxide, Minoxidil, Alcohol etc. alongside Renova as these are all drying agents and would interfere with Renova’s action.
