Dosage

Seasonale is dosed at one pill daily. It is recommended that the period between two doses should be almost exactly 24 hours. If one dose is missed, then the schedule should be continued. However, if the gap is about 72 hours, then the physician’s advice should be asked for. Also it is important that the dose is started as per the schedule. This is pill is to be taken after dinner, with water. Empty stomach might cause upset stomach.

Precaution

Seasonale have the tendency to react with other medicines; hence it is recommended that Seasonale should be taken while on any other medication. Taken with other medicines might lessen the effect of Seasonale.

Seasonale is not recommended for diabetic women or those suffering from severe hypertension or any heart related disease. Women who are allergic to any of its ingredients shall also not use it. In case, if anyone is getting pregnant, she should consult the doctor immediately, as the ingredients used are passed through breast milk. This could be very dangerous to the child feeding on breast milk.

Seasonale is manufactured with the primary concern of birth control. It can be as well be used to cure some feminine disease, but it should not be considered to be a cure of diseased that are transmitted through sexual activities. If any such is diagnosed later, the medication of Seasonale should be discontinued, and the physician should examine the patient for further medication and preventions.

Side Effects

The use of Seasonale might show some side effects. The patient might feel extreme pain in the stomach; or she may experience uncomfortable feeling, weakness, or even deadness in various parts of the body, this might lead to lack of coordination in some parts of the body. For any of the side effects observed, patient should check with her doctor.
